And the beat goes on.

Working life is such a funny thing. There are little accomplishments every day, great moments with people, things that get done, things that don't get done, fun conversations... so many little moments that bring you joy at the time, but that don't really stick in your head to tell someone. Nothing big, just the little pieces that make up life.

In college I always shared all those little every day moments with my roommate (thank roommate! =), at BFA I got to share them with my girls, and my coworkers, when I first came home I shared them with my family, and now that I live on my own, it seems as though they're simply being stored up. I enjoy them, and then they go the way of all those books I've written in my head when I didn't have a pen. To some silent place where they're stored until they come back to me, little by little as time passes, and I'll get to experience them all over again, those tiny memories that don't stick with you every day but surprise you just when you need them. Maybe some day I'll get them all back with a pen in front of me, and be able to make something out of them that more than just myself will enjoy. For now, I revel in my little memories, those little everyday moments that make life so grand, and so simple, all at once.

Thanks God, for little moments of joy that were unnecessary, they are much appreciated.

All that to say, the days pass so quickly, with no significant details to report. Just life. But I enjoy it.

I do, however, wish that a great many of you who I used to share that with were still close enough to talk to in person. Enjoy your summers girls, and my BFA family!! I love you all!!!

And to think that I saw it on Mulberry street!

So yesterday, I was driving down the road, and I saw an older gentleman in the car ahead of me, and a white haired companion in the seat next to him.

Imagine my shock when suddenly the white haired companion leaned itself out the window, reavealing itself to be a GIANT sheep dog! =) I laughed out loud.

October to April?

I am officially fired. 6 months of nothing, I apologize.

Not much has changed for me, still working, still love my job! Keeping pretty busy. I miss all of you though! How was Christmas Banquet? Spring break? Missions trips? Is Spring coming in Kandern? Did you get a royal dumping of snow again this year? I looked back at pictures the other day and was trying to think what you would all be up to right about now. It must be about spring break time, I'm guessing it's freshly over and you're back in school? Welcome back! I'm sure you were all thrilled.

My love to you all!!

Hmmmm

I seem to have slipped back into my less-than-once-a-month rut. But everytime I get on Xanga, I get so carried away reading posts from those of you so far away, that I run out of time to update my own.

Nothing much to say, really.
I got a job, hurray! I like it, I work with fun people, and I'm starting to feel like I'm not doing absolutely everything wrong! =)

I'm missing all of you. Almost cried reading about the Juniors trip to Paris/Normandy, and the Seniors to Rome. I can't believe it. Is it possible that my 8th graders are JUNIORS!! And my freshman are SENIORS??? I just cannot believe it. Wish I could've been there to see all your pictures and hear all your stories.

Just want you all to know, I love you, and I miss you.

Cheers.

Highways and humidity

Back from Texas.

My brother is safely deposited at LeTourneau University, which promises to be a very positive place for him, he's pretty excited about it, and I think I approve.

Saw Galveston Island, which I liked, and other little towns sprinkled across the great state. The whole place reminds me of people who I haven't seen for too long. Girls, girls, too bad you weren't there when I was! I'd have loved to see you in your element! And Abs, I'm so sorry I didn't get to see you!!

And now everyone's beginning school. Weird to hear about it, and not be there. Best of luck, girls! Know that I'm praying for each of you, wherever you are... be it Kandern or Kansas, Texas or Timbuktu.

And little sister, just in case you read this again... I miss you!!
